On August 27, 2019, Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham's (HTS) Ebaa' news agency shared an article, titled "The Internet Jungle," which warned users about the malware that can attack their computers or email accounts, including viruses, trojan horses, spyware, and adware. The article instructed users to scan any external hard drives that are connected to their computers and urged them not to open email from an unknown sender, click on links from an unknown source, or visit suspicious websites.
