A Telegram channel run by a Gazan journalist launched a fundraising campaign with the proceeds allocated to "help people in the Gaza Strip." The journalist claims the campaign is a personal effort in cooperation with people who live inside and outside Gaza, saying that donations are received either in cash or in cryptocurrency. The channel provided a QR code for a new address of a cryptocurrency wallet that receives donations in Tether cryptocurrency (USDT). A scan of the QR code returns a Blockchain address.
