The Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS)-affiliated Ebaa' News Agency published an article titled "Facebook As You Have Not Known It Before" in which the author accuses Facebook of data breaches and sharing data with advertising companies. The article cites a
New York Times report that notes that the U.S. and the U.K. are planning to force Facebook to remove the encryption from its messaging platforms - including WhatsApp - saying that this would allow these countries to have access to messages between users. The article concludes by stressing that the information and data of Facebook users are shared with others.
