On August 14, 2015 - Pakistan's Independence Day, Pakistani hackers launched cyber-attacks on various Indian websites. The following day, August 15 - which is India's Independence Day - Indian hackers launched retaliatory attacks on Pakistani websites. The Indian hacks were carried out by a group called "Hell Shield Hackers" and targeted hundreds of Pakistani sites. On their end, the Pakistanis mostly targeted various Indian government portals.
