On July 2, 2020, a live broadcast on Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas – Gaza), which was moderated by Hamas MP Marwan Abu Ras, was suddenly hacked with a pornographic video. The broadcast was promptly cut off, and Abu Ras could be heard saying: "This is the stupid, filthy enemy... This proves that this symposium enrages and defeats the enemy [and] that we are now hitting close to home."
The following is a transcript from the hacked broadcast.
Host: "Please, go ahead."
Marwan Abu Ras: "Assalam alaykum, and Allah's mercy upon you."
Host: "Assalam alaykum, and Allah's mercy upon you. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad. I would like to highlight some points... There is an interference in the broadcast... Yes."
Marwan Abu Ras: "This is the stupid, filthy enemy... This is the filthy enemy that does not bring forth anything but filth, brother. This is the filthy enemy. We place our trust in Allah. This proves the symposium enrages and defeats the enemy... This proves that we are now hitting close to home and defeating..."
