On February 26, 2017, pro-Islamic State (ISIS) channels on Telegram circulated an audio message by Osed Agha, leader of the pro-ISIS hacking entity United Cyber Caliphate (UCC). In the message, Agha boasted about the UCC's achievements in recent months, claiming, inter alia, that the group had hacked hundreds of social media pages and managed to bring down about half a dozen websites with Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks. Agha urged other hacking groups to join the UCC's ranks, and announced the beginning of a new cyber operations campaign directed primarily against the Iraqi government.
This is the second audio message by Agha; in the first, in December 2016, he threatened to increase cyber-attacks.
