On July 22, 2022 on the Rocket.Chat server operated by the Islamic State (ISIS) users responded to a post sharing links to the channels of a pro-ISIS outlet on WhatsApp and Rocket.Chat. One user advised against inviting ISIS supporters to a WhatsApp group, saying this compromises their security, since "spies" and "feds" use the app and obtain the phone numbers of unaware pro-ISIS users.
Another user commented sarcastically: "Man this FBI chat is dead. I brought some friends over, hope you don't mind." A third user replied: "Seems Muslim is in need of conspiracy detoxification."
