On February 11, 2018, Arabtimesonline.com reported that someone had hacked the websites of Kuwait's Interior Ministry and its Public Authority for Housing Welfare. The previous day, the hacker had breached the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry website, posting an image with the name aBo 6re5m (Abo Treikhm). Kuwait's Interior Ministry was reportedly working with Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry to identify the hacker; Gdnonline.com reported that the hacker was a Saudi national.
