On April 6, 2024, a Syrian pro-opposition website reported, quoting "exclusive sources," that Iran's IRGC transported a shipment of about ten suicide drones produced in Al-Bukamal to southern Syria. The drones were transported in closed trucks and were accompanied by military vehicles from the Iranian security bureau The outlet estimated that the drones will be distributed in Daraa, Quneitra, and Al-Suwayda' governorates.
