On December 21, 2016, it was reported that Pakistani hackers had hijacked a Bangladesh domain belonging to Google, defacing the search engine page and posting their own message. The hackers, one of which goes by the handle Faisal 1337, belonged to a group called Team Pak Cyber Attackers, posted a message mocking Google's security and containing the slogan "Pakistan Zindabad," or "long live Pakistan."
The hack was said to be very similar to the 2015 DNS hijackings of Google Pitcairn Island and Google Vietnam. According to cyberkendra.com, a Pakistani hacker under the handle "LEET" has been known to hack other Google websites.
