According to an Urdu-language daily report, a 16-year-old Pakistani youth, who was killed along with two other terrorists in a police encounter in Pakistan's Swabi district in March, had been radicalized through the social networking site Facebook.
Bilal Khan, son of a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) employee Syeduzzaman, was born on July 8, 1999 in a village called Sheva in Pakistan's Swabi district, according to the report titled "Cyber Jihad - Facebook Took Life of An Innocent Child." Bilal Khan was among a group of three terrorists who were killed during an armed clash with policemen in Sheva on March 20, 2015.
