On the Islamic State (ISIS)-operated rocket.chat server, a user on the channel dedicated to topics of information security published a post on June 10, 2022 describing the work and capture of a Venezuelan hacker who was charged by the U.S. Department of Justice in May with designing, using, and selling ransomware.[1] The post described the programs he developed and how he was tracked down by the FBI.
