In a recent editorial, Pakistan's Urdu-language daily Roznama Islam sought to draw parallels between counter-terror operations executed by Turkey and Pakistan and alleged that "an international Zionist lobby" is at work to deprive these countries of their military weapons, meaning the nuclear weapons of Pakistan.
The editorial, titled "The Incidents Of Terrorism In Pakistan And Turkey," stated: "the game orchestrated by the U.S. to maintain its dominance has led to the killing of people and the economic hardship of nations worldwide. Currently, Turkey and Pakistan are under fire as part of this game. This is the reason that despite being the NATO member, Turkey seems to be closer to Russia and China and that is why Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated in the BRICS summit [on October 22-24, 2024, in Kazan, Russia]."

"The Target Of The Terrorists And Their Supporters Is To Fuel Anarchy In The Country On Political, Religious, Ethnic, And Regional Bases And To Create Chaos So That The State Of Pakistan May Not Move Toward Economic Stability"
"The Incidents Of Terrorism In Pakistan And Turkey
"Yesterday [October 24], security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Bajaur [tribal district of Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province], killing nine terrorists affiliated with Fitna Khawarij [a phrase used by Pakistani authorities for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan]. Two most wanted criminals were among them. These terrorists were involved in several terrorist incidents that have occurred in recent days.
"The encouraging aspect is that there is an emerging awareness and a trend of public unity against terrorists and Fitna Khawarij in the tribal areas. Actions are being taken at the tribal level against people involved in anti-state activities or posing threats to the lives and property of ordinary people.
"The beloved homeland, Pakistan, has been facing the demon of terrorism for the past two decades and for any country or society, a complete end to this destructive series in terms of outcomes has not yet been achieved. Though the country's security agencies and people remain active against terrorists and agents of Fitnah Khawarij with full resolve and determination, yet these bloodthirsty beasts do not refrain from destroying the peace and security of people's lives under the veils of religion, nationality, ethnicity, and regional or geographical identities.
"According to analysts, the target of the terrorists and their supporters is to fuel anarchy in the country on political, religious, ethnic, and regional bases and to create chaos so that the state of Pakistan may not move toward economic stability and be compelled to remain under the pressure of some world powers."
"According To A Report Received From Turkey, A Sensitive Military Organization Was The Target Of The Terrorists Where Work Continues On Modern Military Technology"
"If we ponder over, the same situation is with the brotherly Muslim country, Turkey. Over the past two days, the Turkey executed massive military operations against the Kurdish separatist organization which is in reaction to a massive incident of terrorism in Ankara. The Turkish military, without thinking of any concern, heavily bombarded the bases of Kurdish separatists in Syria and Iraq. The defense agencies in Turkey are also currently busy in [military] operations.
"This action by Turkey demonstrates that no state can tolerate terrorism. If the terrorists and the anti-state elements have established bases in neighbouring countries, states can target them in their defense without any hesitation and give a teeth-breaking response to the foreign enemies for the sake internal peace.
"The constitution and law-abiding citizens of the country are well aware of the fact that armed movements become a threat to the existence of states; therefore, they avoid armed movements. The worst results of revolution started in the name of the Arab Spring can still be witnessed in Libya, Syria, and other Arab states.

"In such a situation, hostility toward a nation like Pakistan could prove very costly for neighboring countries. It would be better for everyone to prioritize peace and security and jointly benefit from the opportunities of economic cooperation and trade partnerships arising from mutual coexistence and regional foundations."
