In a public address aired on Ofogh TV (Iran) on September 15, 2023, General Kioumars Heydari, who is the commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army's Ground Forces, "saluted the spirits" of the "martyrs" IRGC Generals Qasem Soleimani and Hassan Tehrani-Moghaddam, who had been the IRGC chief missile designer. Heydari also said that he can now reveal that General Tehrani-Moghaddam had produced and designed missiles that will be aimed at the heart of Israel and will "destroy that pustular growth."

Soleimani Was The "Master Of The Resistance Martyrs"
Kioumars Heydari: "The spirits of two dear martyrs are undoubtedly observing this forum, and I extend greetings to the pure spirits of those two martyrs. The first is our dear martyr, General Hajj Qasem Soleimani, who was the leader's soldier and field commander, for matters pertaining to the resistance axis.
