On January 24, 2022, Houthi Military Spokesman Yahya Sarea released a statement on Twitter by the Houthi Armed Forces, in which it claimed responsibility for airborne attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia that took place the same day.
Following the January 17, 2022 attacks by the Yemen-based Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement on targets in the UAE, several Telegram channels supporting the Iran-backed militias in Iraq published posters mocking and threatening the UAE.

January 2022 has seen yet another escalation in the fighting between the Yemeni Houthi Ansar Allah movement, which is supported by Iran, and the UAE.
On Twitter, supporters of the Yemeni Ansar Allah Movement, aka the Houthis, are continuing to disseminate statements made by Houthi officials threatening to attack more targets in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Hizbullah news website published an article who warns that if the UAE doesn't stop its aggression against the Houthis, the aggression directed against the UAE will increase.
On January 24, 2022, Telegram channels that support the Iran-backed militias in Iraq launched a fundraising campaign for the Houthi Ansar Allah movement.
On January 20, 2022, the official website of the Iran-backed Houthis, also known as Ansar Allah, published an op-ed discussing the January 17, 2022, attack the group launched on civilian facilities in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
