Sayed Hassan Mortazavi, the former commander of the Fatemiyoun Brigade of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), recently attended an Ashura ceremony organized by Shi'ite mourners at a mosque west of Kabul.
On July 18, 2024, the Islamic State (ISIS) released Issue 451 of its weekly newsletter, Al-Naba'. The issue's feature article, titled "From Diyala To Oman," celebrates the July 15 attack in Muscat, Oman, as a continuation of ISIS's declared war on Shi'ite Muslims, and an expansion of the scope of ISIS attacks to counter the Iran-spearheaded "polytheistic projects" in the region.
On July 1, 2024, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) cleric published a post excerpting his recent sermon. He attacked Australia's political democratic system, calling it shirk (i.e. polytheism) amid public uproar over Senator Fatima Payman's suspension from the Labor Party after voting against her party by supporting a motion to recognize Palestinian statehood.

On July 20, 2024, the Israel Defense Forces spokesman announced that the Israeli Air Force attacked "targets of the Houthi terrorist regime," at Yemen's Al-Hudaydah Port. Following the attack, an apparently Israeli X account posted a message saying that an Italian plane had refueled the Israeli planes while they were in Yemeni airspace, and this post had significant repercussions in the Arab press.

On July 23, 2024, the pro-Hizbullah Lebanese Al-Akhbar daily published an article that describes what the anticipated "fifth phase of escalation" declared by Yemen's Iran-backed Ansar Allah movement (the Houthis) will comprise, following an attack by the Israeli Air Force on Al-Hudaydah Port in Yemen.

During the third week of July 2024, Yemen's Iran-backed Ansar Allah movement (the Houthis) claimed responsibility for eight missile and drone attacks against ships and other targets, among them those that were "American" and those that were "Israeli," in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Mediterranean Sea, and on Israeli territory.

Lebanese Hizbullah Releases Video Featuring Surveillance Footage Of Israel's Ramat David Air Base
On July 24, 2024, Lebanese Hizbullah released an eight-minute video featuring footage gathered by "the air forces of the Islamic resistance" with surveillance drones.
In the week of July 15-21, 2024, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of Iran-backed militias in Iraq, issued six statements claiming responsibility for six separate attacks that targeted Israel's southernmost city of Eilat, Haifa in the north, and ships in the Mediterranean Sea.
On July 21, 2024, the press office of Qais Al-Khazali, the Secretary General of Iran-backed Iraqi Asa'ib Ahl Al-Haq (AAH) militias, posted three photos on Telegram documenting Al-Khazali's visit to the office of Yemen's Iran-backed Ansar Allah Movement (Houthis) in Baghdad.
On July 22, 2024, the military arm of a Syrian political party issued a statement announcing the death of one of its operatives killed fighting Israel in southern Lebanon.
On July 22, 2024, Syrian opposition media outlets reported that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) had released at least 111 individuals who had been held in Alayia prison in Qamishli on terrorism charges.
On July 19, 2024, Telegram channels supporting Syrian jihadi group Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) reported that the group's Zayd bin Harithah Brigade carried out a "qualitative operation" on Assad regime positions in Al-Hakourah, in the Al-Ghab Plain northwest of Hama.
On July 22, 2024, the military command of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Somalia, Harakat Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen (Al-Shabab), published a statement in Somali claiming that the group carried out a large-scale attack that morning against military bases of Somali forces in the country's Juba province.
On July 23, 2024, the Shahada News Agency, the media arm of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Somalia, Harakat Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen (Al-Shabab), published a statement claiming that five soldiers were killed and four wounded in an Al-Shabab assault on a Kenyan military base in Ishakani, in Kenya's coastal Lamu county.
In recent days, Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) has claimed a series of drone bombardments targeting UAE-backed forces in several locations in Yemen's Abyan governorate.
Al-Qaeda Affiliate GSIM Claims Killing Six Soldiers In Northern Togo
On July 20, 2024, the Al-Zallaqa Media Foundation, the media arm of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in the African Sahel, Jama'at Nusrat Al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen (the Group for Support of Islam and Muslims – GSIM), published a statement claiming that GSIM operatives assaulted and took control of a Togolese army barracks in Kankanti, in Togo's northern Savanes region.
On July 16, 2024, prominent Al-Qaeda supporter Warith Al-Qassam published on Telegram what appears to be a July 13 statement by Al-Qaeda's affiliate in the African Sahel, Jama'at Nusrat Al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen (the Group for Support of Islam and Muslims – GSIM).
On July 15, 2024, the official media outlet of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) released a 25-minute video, the eighth installment in a series that features an audio message from a senior AQIM operative.

Islamic State Sahel Province Claims Killing Over 63 In Four Attacks Following Koutoukale Jailbreak
On July 11, 2024, Islamic State Sahel Province broke out prisoners incarcerated in Niger's high-security Koutoukale prison.
On July 21, 2024, the Islamic State Mozambique Province (ISMP) released a set of seven photos showing some of "the da'wah [preaching] activities of the caliphate soldiers" in the Macomia district of northeastern Mozambique's Cabo Delgado province.

A cover article in the latest issue of the "Voice of Khurasan," an English-language monthly magazine published by Al-Azaim Media Foundation, a media outlet linked to the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), which defines itself as a supporting entity for the Islamic State (ISIS), criticizes a series of international conferences from Malaysia to Qatar which it says were aimed at mobilizing the ruling Afghan Taliban to fight the Islamic State to advance Western strategic objectives.
On July 23, 2024, a prominent pro-ISIS Telegram channel published three posts calling on Sunni Muslims and jihadists to avenge their "slain brothers" by attacking Shi'ites, Kurds, and Christians in the region.
On July 22, 2024, an anti-Islamic State (ISIS) channel on the Al-Qaeda-operated Rocket.Chat server published a letter, which it claimed was sent from an Emir of ISIS's Somali Province to the province's wali, or governor, complaining about the group's military activity.

In an article, the Afghan Taliban regime criticized the United Nations Sanctions Monitoring Committee for relying on information received from member countries that alleges the presence of Al-Qaeda and other jihadi terror groups in Afghanistan.

On July 15, 2024, a website linked to the Afghan Taliban intelligence agency published a short comment piece, condemning the Israeli attacks in Khan Younis city and lamenting: "While millions of young [Muslims] are drowning in happiness and are unaware, Gaza is drowning in mourning..."
Recently, two articles appeared on a website of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA, i.e., the Afghan Taliban) which discussed the recent joint military exercises between Pakistan and the United States and argued that these are aimed at fomenting conflict on the Afghan-Pakistan border, especially against jihadi organizations.

In a statement, Hizb-ut-Tahrir Afghanistan has criticized the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) for its recent report saying that the Afghan Taliban's shari'a practices violate human rights in the country.
