On October 31, 2022, following the purchase of Twitter by Elon Musk, an Egyptian-born pro-Al-Qaeda cleric based in Ontario wrote on his Telegram that, under Musk, Twitter's future "will be even darker than its past."
In what was possibly the first case brought under India's cyberterrorism laws, Anees Ansari, a software engineer arrested in 2014 for planning a lone wolf terror attack on the American School of Bombay, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a court in Mumbai, according to the Indian press.

On November 1, 2022, the pro- Islamic State (ISIS) Al-Murhafat media institute released a poster urging Muslims in Iran and beyond to take action to topple the Iranian regime, which is described as "polytheistic" and "infidel," and as a regime that Muslims are obligated to fight against.
On October 29, 2022, the official media outlet of Jaish Al-Adl ("Army of Justice") issued a statement condemning the "crimes," committed by the Iranian regime during the ongoing protests. The statement called on security personnel to abandon the regime and on protesters to stay united.

On October 31, 2022, the Islamic State (ISIS) Sahel Province claimed that its fighters launched an attack on October 29 against the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Group for Support of Islam and Muslims (GSIM), killing 40.

Islamic State East Asia Province (ISEAP) Claims Attack On Telecommunications Tower In Philippines
On October 27, 2022, the Islamic State (ISIS) published issue 362 of its weekly magazine Al-Naba'. The issue contained a short article claiming for the first time an attack by ISIS' East Asia Province (ISEAP) on a government-owned telecommunication towers in the Philippines.
An October 27, 2022 editorial in Issue 362 of the Islamic State's (ISIS) weekly Al-Naba', using a quote from Quran 35:10, "All Glory is Allah's," as its title, discusses the pride, self-confidence, and glory which the Quran urges believers to pursue.
The latest issue of "Voice of Khurasan," an English-language monthly magazine published by Al-Azaim Foundation, the media arm of the Islamic State's Khurasan Province (ISIS-K), accuses the Afghan Taliban of working with the CIA, attacks the Muslim Brotherhood, eulogizes Umar at-Tajiki, who bombed a bus in Herat city, and has a number of articles promoting jihad.
On November 1, 2022, the official media outlet of the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Group for Support of Islam and Muslims (GSIM) issued a statement claiming that the group had killed at least 70 Islamic State (ISIS) operatives during a three-day campaign that took place in towns located in the Menaka region in northern Mali.

Iran-Backed Iraqi Group Threatens Western Intelligence Agencies Based In Iraq
On October 30, 2022, Ashab Al-Kahf (People of the Cave), a Shi'ite Iraqi group supported by Iran, posted three messages on its Telegram channel in which it threatens foreign intelligence agencies which operate in Iraq and in the Middle East, as well as those that cooperate with them, and calls on them to cease their operations in Iraq and against the axis of resistance, which is referred to as "the axis of Islam."
