Amid Chants Of 'Death To America', Hizbullah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem Threatens 'Out-Of-The-Box' Attacks Against Israel: We Will Kill Them Where They Do Not Expect It; The U.S. Is Complicit In Israel's Genocide
Hizbullah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem said in a speech during a September 22, 2024 funeral held for Hizbullah operations chief Ibrahim Aqil, a veteran Hizbullah operative who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut alongside several top commanders from Hizbullah's elite Radwan Unit, that the United States is fully complicit in Israel's aggression, crimes, and genocide and will not be able to convince anybody otherwise. He said that America is destined for destruction just like Israel and led the crowd in chants of "Death to America!" Qassem also said that the Zionists have "globalized the resistance in Palestine," and "caused the elixir of resistance to develop in fetuses." Qasem promised that the Lebanese front in support of Palestine will continue until the war in Gaza ends. In addition, he promised that the residents of northern Israel will not be able to return to their homes, that more Israelis will be displaced, and that the new phase of the conflict is called "the Battle of the Unsettled Score." Moreover, he promised that Hizbullah will act "out-of-the-box" and will fight and kill the Israelis in places they do not expect.

Hizbullah Deputy Sec-Gen Naim Qassem: Biden's Ceasefire Proposal Is All Hot Air; What Kind Of Agreement Can Be Reached If It Does Not Include An End To The War? It Is All About The U.S. Presidential Elections
Deputy secretary-general of Hizbullah Sheikh Naim Qassem discussed U.S. President Biden's May 31 ceasefire proposal in a June 4, 2024 interview with Al-Jazeera Network (Qatar). He said that this proposal is "hot air," and he asked what kind of agreement can be reached, if it does not include an end to the war. Qassem said that he believes this proposal stems from the upcoming American presidential elections and American internal politics. He said that it would not make sense for Hamas to relinquish its bargaining chips by releasing the Israeli hostages yet allow Israel to continue to attack Gaza.
Regarding the Lebanese front with Israel, Qassem said that Hizbullah is fighting in support of Gaza and that it will not stop fighting, "unless there is a ceasefire and the war against Gaza stops," and it will continue to fight as long as the war in Gaza continues. He said that Hizbullah has decided not to expand the fighting to an all-out war, but if such a war were imposed on it, they are ready for it.

Hizbullah Deputy Leader Sheikh Naim Qassem: U.S.- Iran War Would Set The Region Ablaze; Israel Is Vulnerable To Our Weapons No Matter What It Does
Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Deputy Secretary-General of Hizbullah, said in a July 22, 2019 interview on Mayadeen TV that Israel and its important sites are vulnerable to Hizbullah's weapons no matter how much it fortifies them. He said Hizbullah would target sites throughout Israel in a conflict and that Hizbullah has increased its preparedness and the quality of its equipment such that no measures can effectively protect Israel's domestic front from it. He explained that a war between the U.S. and Iran would spread to the entire region and that the entire Middle East would be "ablaze" with conflict between the pro-American block and the pro-Iran block. Commenting on Argentina's designation of Hizbullah as a terrorist organization, Sheikh Qassem said that this is a result of pressure exerted by the U.S. on the countries of the world to aid in its plan of "besieging" Hizbullah. He also denied any connection between Hizbullah and the explosions that have taken place in Argentina. In addition, Sheikh Qassem said that though relations between Hamas and Hizbullah had been a bit cold during the height of the Syrian crisis, their relations have since been restored to an even better state than they had been in before.

Deputy Secretary-General of Hizbullah Sheikh Naim Qassem spoke at the Fourth Global Convention of Solidarity with Palestine on March 13, saying that the only way to regain Palestine was through resistance and "first and foremost, armed resistance."
