In a recent article, Pakistani writer Sufiyan Waheed criticized the failure of the United Nations to resolve the Hamas-Isarel conflict in Gaza. He went on to say that "the root cause of the conflict in Palestine is the occupation of the Israeli Zionist force."
The article, titled "Israel's Acknowledgement of Defeat," appeared in Roznama Jasarat, an Urdu-language newspaper published by Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.
Sufiyan Waheed said that Jerusalem was the first qibla, the direction of prayer for Muslims, before the status was given to Kaaba in Mecca. "Protests are taking place in favor of Palestinian rights worldwide. Despite this, there are concerns the war will spread further," the columnist warned.

"Benjamin Netanyahu Has Admitted That He Cannot Eliminate Hamas Because Hamas Is The Name Of An Ideology, And An Ideology Cannot Be Eradicated"
"Defying all moral, legal, and international decisions, Israel has continued to commit aggression against the Palestinians. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has admitted that he cannot eliminate Hamas because Hamas is the name of an ideology, and an ideology cannot be eradicated. Israel and its allies must understand that they will not gain anything except difficulties by raining bombs and bullets on the Palestinians.
"The reality is that the ongoing crisis in Palestine is demanding from the global powers that they find a practical solution to the Palestinian issue in order to establish peace not only in the Middle East but the entire world.
"Many prophets and messengers of Allah, including Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), immigrated for the sake of the religion of truth [Islam]. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the last of the prophets, migrated from Mecca to Medina when he was persecuted by the infidels of Mecca. He continued to worship Allah, facing the first qibla, Al-Aqsa Mosque, until he lived in Medina.
"However, after the command of Allah was revealed for changing the qibla, Kaaba was declared to be the real qibla. Allah commanded Muslims to face the Kaaba, wherever you may be, in order to worship. Similarly, Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) immigrated from Egypt to the land of Palestine at the command of Allah to escape the Pharaoh's oppression."
"On His Return To The World [i.e. When Jesus Is Reborn], The Kingship Will Belong To Him, And He Will Preach The Oneness Of Allah In The Entire The World. Gaza And The Land Of Palestinians Belong To Palestinians"
"The sacred cities of Hejaz [comprising Mecca and Medina] and the land of Palestine are two important centers of worshipping Allah, where the voice of the religion of truth always echoes. But the current situation is completely contrary to these objectives. When the Romans had made the life hell for Jews to live on this land and used to cause harm to Christians as well, the Romans also committed mass killings of Jews. In such circumstances, the Caliph of Muslims, Hazrat Umar, conquered Palestine and saved the Jews, who were followers of Allah's Messenger and Prophet Moses, from the oppression of the Romans. After this, the Jews decided to settle in different parts of the world.
"However, according to the agreement between these three groups [Jews, Muslims, and Christians], the Jews too have the right and authority to worship and perform their rituals in the Holy Land just like the Christians and the Muslims. Today, Muslims are being oppressed in the land of Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip. Along with the defense of their land, Muslims should also gather around the sacred Hejaz, namely the Kaaba, and also ensure the protection of Medina, because Zionism has taken the form of Judaism and has started playing the game of the Roman rulers.
"There was an expectation that the ongoing war in Palestine would cease through diplomatic means, but so far it has not been possible. The establishment of peace in Palestine is inevitable, otherwise there can be further destruction. However, the United Nations resolutions have also failed to stop the mass killing of Muslim Palestinians so far. Protests are taking place in favor of Palestinian rights worldwide. Despite this, there are concerns the war will spread further. People all over the world, including students and sympathizers, are playing their role to stop the genocide of the Palestinian people and for the independent Palestinian state.
"On the other hand, the United Nations General Assembly has also approved a majority resolution in favor of a self-governing independent Palestinian state. The International Court of Justice has also ordered Israel to stop the mass killings in Palestine, but Israelis are still on the path of genocide of Palestinians. The root cause of the conflict in Palestine is the occupation of the Israeli Zionist force. This land is the birthplace of the Messenger and Prophet Jesus. On his return to the world [i.e., when Jesus will be reborn], the kingship will belong to him, and he will preach the oneness of Allah in the entire the world. Gaza and the land of Palestinians belong to Palestinians."
