Michigan Imam Abdou Al-Wali Zindani said in a November 28, 2024 video that there will be no peace until Israel is uprooted from the Palestinian lands and withdraws its forces from the Middle East. He added that once Israel gives the Palestinians their rights, Israelis will be welcome to immigrate or visit Muslim lands, like in the past, but if they want to plunder the land and money, infringe upon the honor of its inhabitants and expel the people of Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon from their countries "this would be the epitome of stupidity." Zindani continued to say that Israelis are not Jews and that "they were sent from Europe, America, and the Western countries in order to annihilate everybody and taker over their money."
In January, Imam Zindani said in a Friday sermon that the Muslims will slaughter the Jews like sheep. Abdou Zindani is imam at the Islamic Universal Services Association in Warren, Michigan. He presented at the November 2023 interfaith Thanksgiving service organized by the InterFaith Leadership Council of Metropolitan Detroit.
