Algerian Islamic Scholar Abdelfattah Hamadache Zeraoui On French President Macron's Algeria Visit: France Must Apologize, Pay Reparations; We Will Raise The Banner Of Islam In The Elysée Palace

Algerian Islamic scholar Abdelfattah Hamadache Zeraoui spoke about French President Emmanuel Macron's recent visit to Algeria in a video posted to his YouTube channel on August 26, 2022. Zeraoui said that the Algerian people are not pleased with the visit and that France has yet to apologize and pay reparations to Algeria for the "mountains of skulls" and "oceans full of blood" it is responsible for in Algeria. He prayed for Allah to "wreak vengeance" upon France, and he said that the future belongs to Islam, warning that the Algerian people will settle the score with France in a "powerful way" and will raise the flag of Islam in the Elysée Palace. He added: "The Prophet Muhammad said that Rome would be conquered, and the road to Rome passes through many European capitals."

Abdelfattah Hamadache Zeraoui: "How could you possibly welcome French President [Emmanuel Macron in Algeria]?

"The Algerians are not pleased with [Macron's visit]. The [French] have not apologized to us, and they have not paid reparations. We reject an apology without reparations. Keep your apologies. Our [dead] are martyrs in the eyes of Allah. What you did to us will never be forgotten. [You left] mountains of skulls and body parts, and valleys and oceans full of blood. We still have blood shed by France to avenge. Today, when I saw the French flag in Algeria, I began to shudder. We will never accept the French flag in this country.

"We ask Allah to wreak vengeance on them, and on their many descendants who are still in this country.

"Nevertheless, the future belongs to Islam, and to the honorable and deeply-rooted Algerians, who will settle the score with France in a powerful way. We ask Allah to give us a long life until He 'soothes the hearts of the believers.'

"If not us, then our sons will raise the flag of Islam in the Elysée Palace, inshallah. Our day [of vengeance] will come.
