In a Friday sermon delivered at one of the venues of the Gaza "Return March" on May 11, Sheikh As'ad Abu Shari'a, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, said that the Jews were "behind all corruption upon the land" and called them prophet slayers and violators of agreements. "Whoever fights them will be redeemed," he said, adding that "unless they stop being corrupt and corrupting others, we will meet them only in places of terror and battle, where that state will be annihilated." The sermon was broadcast by the Lebanese Al-Quds TV channel.
Sheikh As'ad Abu Shari'a: "The warning is from Allah to the accursed Jews, to the tyrannical Jews, to the infidel Jews, to the Jews, who spread corruption upon the land, to the corrupt who corrupt others. This is a warning not from a state or a political party, but from Allah.

"Where are the Romans? Where are the Persians? Where are the Byzantines? Where are the Tatars? Where are the countries of tyranny? They have all disappeared. But the Islamic state has survived for 1,400 years, and it is here to stay.

"Oh accursed Jews, oh lying violaters of agreements, who banished you from the European continent? You were banished by the European countries, and you were received by the Muslim Ottoman state. You were received by the Muslim Ottoman state, but what have you done [in return]? You have spread corruption upon the land, corrupted worshippers [of Allah], hatched conspiracies, and defiled the holy places. After all that, do you expect to meet us anywhere but on the battlefield? What kind of meeting would that be? A friendly one? No, a meeting of the swords.

"Those people's Talmud is distorted. Their Torah is distorted. It is full of witchcraft and sorcery. Can't you see their lies, their hypocrisy, their failure, their violation of agreements, and their slaying of the prophets? Whoever fights them will be redeemed.

"Is it not by the grace of Allah that He has chosen us to fight those people? Is it not by the grace of Allah that He has chosen us to enrage those people? Is it not by the grace of Allah that He has chosen us to strike terror in them?

"There is no place for the Jews, the Zionists, the Israelis – call them what you want... That corrupt and corrupting group of people has no place whatsoever on any Islamic land.

"Unless they stop being corrupt and corrupting others, we will meet them only in places of terror and battle, where that state will be annihilated, because the Jews are behind all corruption upon the land."
