Al-Azhar Scholar Ahmed Omar Hashem Calls For An 'Islamic Deterrence Force' That Will Extract Jerusalem From The 'World's Foreign Vagabonds,' Cites Prophecy About Muslims Killing Jews, Adds: 'What Was Taken By Force Will Only Be Restored By Force'

Egyptian Islamic scholar Sheikh Ahmed Omar Hashem said in a Friday sermon at Al-Azhar that the Muslims must stand as one "in order to extract noble Jerusalem from the hands of the world’s foreign vagabonds." The sermon was aired on Channel 1, (Egypt) on May 14, 2021. Hashem said that "what was taken by force must be restored by force" and that an Islamic force of deterrence must emerge in the Arab and Islamic countries. He said that the Zionists have "defiled (Al-Aqsa) and incited against the religions" with their blasphemy. Hashem continued to pray that Allah will fulfill the prophecy in the hadith, according to which the Muslims will kill the Jews in the end times. Ahmed Omar Hashem: "The world order – the United Nations, the Security Council, human rights organizations, rulers, presidents, and everybody else... They should all stand together. Ramadan has taught us to close ranks and we should all stand as one, in order to extract noble Jerusalem from the hands of the world's foreign vagabonds, and to deter those who have oppressed and incited against it. Indeed, what was taken by force will only be restored by force. An Islamic force of deterrence must emerge in the Arab and Islamic countries.

"I say to all our rulers and presidents, and to all the world's human rights organizations: Fulfill your duty today, after those oppressive Zionists trampled upon human rights, and upon the sanctity of one of Allah's mosques. They have defiled [Al-Aqsa] and incited against the religions with their horrible blasphemy which was met with a disgraceful and cowardly silence.

"We pray upon the One and Only God to extend us His powerful support, and then, Allah will fulfill the prophecy as heralded by the Prophet Muhammad.

"The Prophet Muhammad said: 'Judgement Day shall not come before you fight the Jews and [every] Jew shall hide behind stones or trees, and the stones or trees will say: 'oh servant of Allah, oh Muslims, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.' 'Oh servant of Allah' means that when we become complete servants of Allah – and 'oh Muslims' means that when we perfect our true Islam – that is when this prophecy will be fulfilled for us."
