London-Based Iranian Political Analyst Ali Alizadeh: If Iran Is Attacked, It Should Shed All Restraints – Down American Planes, Send U.S. Soldiers Back In Coffins; Houthis Should Target Chinese Oil Tankers, And Aramco

London-based Iranian political analyst Ali Alizadeh, often viewed as a mouthpiece for the Iranian regime, suggested in an October 10, 2024, video on Jedaal on YouTube that Iran should lose all restraints if Israel or the U.S. strike within its borders. He argued that Iran ought to adopt a "half-crazy player" approach in response to American and regional targets. Alizadeh claimed that Iran could down an American plane, sending U.S. servicemen back "horizontally"—a reference to assassinated Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah—which he suggested could sway the upcoming presidential elections. He further indicated that the Houthis might target Chinese oil tankers transporting Saudi oil and hit Aramco. Additionally, he warned that if Qatar facilitates a strike on Iran, Doha would "go up in flames."

Ali Alizadeh: "[Iran should] use its missiles and drones as leverage, and have talks with its allies, asking for help. It should tell small countries like Qatar that if their airspace is used to attack Iran, and even though this would be a blow to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iran will do something to make [Qatar] go up in the air one day. Not just oil fields will be blown up. Doha in its entirety will go up in flames.

"If Israel attacks Iran, [Iran] should strike the United States. It should strike American resources and interests in the region. This is the only message that Iran should be sending to the U.S. now: We have lost it. We have lost it. Losing Hassan Nasrallah is like losing a province [of Iran]. He is gone and we have lost it, I am putting everything I have on the line. If Israel strikes me, I will strike you [the U.S.].

[...]

"If the F-35s enter Iran, it means that the U.S. helped them, or Qatar or others working on behalf of the U.S. [helped them]. This is the message that Iran should send: 'If Israel takes a step inside Iran, we will strike Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United States.'

[...]

"I am still saying that Iran is insignificant in America's domestic policies. They have more pressing domestic issues, in addition to China and Russia on the international level, and there are also immigrants and the closing of the borders. The [Americans] have enough on their plate domestically. Iran does not matter. But if Iran strikes an American airplane, and 15 American soldiers who walked in vertically leave horizontally, like Hassan [Nasrallah] used to say – it will have major consequences for the U.S. elections.

[...]

"I say to China – if you do not stop Saudi Arabia, you will not be getting its oil. The [Houthi] Ansar Allah will target a Chinese tanker with one of their missiles.

[...]

"You have to change the game and change the paradigm of your thinking. Declare a state of war in all different layers of Iranian society, and become an unpredictable, shocking, and half-crazy player, so that the enemy would tremble at the sound of your name. It starts with the American elections, and maybe the Russian weapons [shipments] stop, and maybe a Chinese tanker gets damaged, and maybe Yemen attacks Aramco again, and maybe some of the Qatari oil fields explode, and so on and so forth."
