Following are excerpts from a speech by Saleh Al-'Armuti, chairman of the Jordanian Lawyers Association, aired on Al-Jazeera TV on February 4, 2006.
Saleh Al-'Armuti: My beloved Prophet of Allah, I will sacrifice my soul for you. I will sacrifice my blood and my family for you. I will sacrifice [my life] for you, oh Prophet of Allah, in light of the ferocious attack against the nation of Arabs and Muslims, which is led by a sponsor of terrorism, the greatest racist Nazi ever known to humanity – the criminal Bush, Allah's curses upon him, and upon whoever shakes his hand or sits with him.
Crowd: Allah Akbar.
Allah Akbar.
Saleh Al-'Armuti: our souls and our blood we will sacrifice for you, oh Prophet of Allah.
[...]I say to you, oh criminal Bush: You are a criminal who should be referred to the international criminal court, because you have committed [crimes] against our people, our families, against our women, our children, and our mothers, in beloved Palestine and in beloved, brave Iraq. you committed the worst massacres known to human history. You have committed the worst massacre ever known to humanity. You have killed our people with weapons of mass destruction - which are forbidden in international law – and with weapons of enriched uranium, and white phosphorus, and yellow too. Allah's curse upon you, and upon whoever supports you.
My beloved ones, the massacres in our region, the desecration of Allah's sanctities, and the affront to the book of Allah which began when the book of Allah was torn, and thrown into the toilet at Guantanamo.
Allah Akbar.
