PMU Official Jabbar Al-Maamouri, Iraqi MP For The Ruling Coordination Framework Alliance Vows To Burn Down The American Embassy In Baghdad In Revenge For The Assassination Of Nasrallah

Member of the Coordination Framework bloc of the Iraqi parliament and PMU official Jabbbar Al-Maamouri vowed to burn down the American embassy in Baghdad in revenge for the assassination of Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah at a September 28, 2024 protest held at the entrance to the Green Zone. He told an Al-Ahd TV (Iraq) reporter that the crowd will burn down the embassy like the assassination of Nasrallah has burned their hearts. Al-Maamouri added: “Death to America! Death to Israel!”

Jabbar Al-Maamouri: "Yes, we are now at the entrance of the Green Zone, in front of the American embassy. We say to the evil American embassy that we will burn it down tonight inshallah, just like [the assassination of Nasrallah] has burned our hearts. This night belongs to the Iraqi people. The American embassy must not be present in the land of Iraq, the land of Nasrallah, Hizbullah, the resistance, and all the Iraqi resistance fighters. We say: No to America! No to Israel! Death to America! Death to Israel! We are determined to burn it down tonight, inshallah. Yes to Nasrallah! Yes to Hizbullah!"

Interviewer: "Will the Iraqi masses make do with this protest, or will there be further escalation?"

Al-Maamouri: "The escalation is ongoing, and it will not stop, until the Americans are driven out from all of Iraq, Jerusalem is liberated, and revenge is taken for Hassan Nasrallah, as well as his beloved brothers, the commanders in the IRGC – brother [IRGC Qods Force Commander] Qaani, and brother..."

Interviewer: "Brother Qaani is alive and well, but yes, there are many other prominent people..."

Al-Maamouri: "Yes, prominent military commanders and heroic leaders, along with Sayyed Hassan... We will take revenge for all of them tonight, inshallah, and we will keep fighting until the last moment, until our last breath."
