Deputy Secretary-General of Hizbullah Sheikh Naim Qassem said in a May 31, 2024 press conference that was aired on Mayadeen TV (Lebanon) that Palestine will be liberated through resistance, guns, blood, and Jihad, and not through negotiations or political means. He added that this war has proven the decline of Western-American values, and he added that Hizbullah aspires to liberate "normal, upright human beings" from the "cancerous tumor" Israel and "its sponsor the Great Satan," referring to the United States. Qassem stated that the future lies in the complete liberation of Palestine from the River to the Sea. He also said: "If Palestine is liberated, humanity in its entirety will be liberated."
Sheikh Naim Qassem: "Palestine will not be restored through negotiations, through political means, or via the superpowers. These will play no part in the liberation of Palestine. Palestine will be liberated through resistance, guns, blood, and Jihad by the Palestinian people, assisted by the Arab and Islamic nation.

"The future of this Palestinian path of liberation lies with the liberation of Palestine in its entirety, from the River to the Sea – not with two states or a state that is cut into pieces. The future lies with the liberation of the land of Palestine in its entirety.

"Let America and the West know that the price will be very high, because this war has proven the decline of Western-American values, and the downfall of their leadership position. From now on, you will encounter the utmost difficulty to penetrate the minds and education in our Arab and Islamic world, as well as in many countries of the free people of the world.

"Our support for [the Palestinians] will continue until there is a ceasefire, and after the ceasefire, we will be at the ready to provide any assistance needed until the liberation. Our position is not circumstantial. It is strategic, because we consider the liberation of Palestine a priority over everything else. If Palestine is liberated, the entire Arab region will be liberated. If Palestine is liberated, humanity in its entirety will be liberated. If Palestine is liberated, [global] arrogance will have no place, and no means to influence our world and our nation. We aspire to liberate normal, upright human beings from the cancerous tumor which is Israel, and from its sponsor, the Great Satan."
