Egyptian TV host Ibrahim Eissa said in the opening monologue of an episode of his show on Al-Hurra TV (U.S.) that aired on February 10, 2020 that Islam is a religion that is appropriate for every time and place. He added that Christianity and Judaism are similarly appropriate for every time and place, and that a change in time or location only changes one's understanding of religion.
Ibrahim Eissa: "Islam is a religion that is appropriate for every time and place. True. But who says that Christianity is not a religion that is appropriate for every place and time? After all, Christianity has been here for more than two thousand years. It is appropriate, there are Christians... Christianity has existed for a long time, and it is appropriate for every place and time. Who says that Judaism is not a religion that is appropriate for every place and time? After all, Judaism has also existed for thousands of years. Judaism has its believers, its [holy] places, its time... Therefore, all the religions are appropriate for every place and time. We have not heard of a monotheistic religion that has disappeared. The question here lies in the answer that maybe [those religions] are appropriate for every place and time, because time and place are a part of the reading and understanding of religion. Time and place change and change our understanding of religion. They do not change the religion, but only our understanding of it. Islam is not the only religion that is appropriate for every place and time. Christianity and Judaism are also appropriate for every place and time, and every place and time are appropriate for all religions.
