Following are excerpts from a religious program featuring Egyptian cleric Mahmud Al-Masri, which aired on Al-Nas TV on February 17, 2012:
Mahmoud Al-Masri: [In the days of the Prophet Muhammad], the Muslims in Al-Madina tried to coexist with the Jews who lived there. Did this come to pass? Agreements and treaties were signed, but the Jews breached one treaty after another. They betrayed [the Muslims], as is the wont of Jews in every time and every place. Jews will be Jews. They have not changed and will not change. Don't think that because of the Camp David Accords… Even if you signed a thousand treaties with them, they will never abide by them. They slayed the prophets, and what are we Muslims, compared to the prophets?
