Following are excerpts from an interview with Egyptian MP Mustafa Bakri, which aired on Al-Manar TV on July 25, 2006

Egyptian MP Mustafa Bakri: The picture is clear: From the Greater Middle East to the Broader Middle East, to the New Middle East. This term was presented by Condoleezza Rice - this lady, who is walking all over the skulls of our children, dipping her feet in seas of blood in Beirut and Palestine, and sitting at the table laughing and smiling. I hope no Lebanese, Palestinian, or Arab will meet with her. Condoleezza Rice is a murderer, just like Olmert and Bush. She has come to ruin and destroy. We must stop pinning our hopes on these people. These are our true enemies. America is the head of the serpent, and the greatest enemy, which we must confront.

Hassan Nasrallah is reviving the history of Saladin, of Gamal Abd Al-Nasser, of Khaled Ibn al-Walid, and of all those who have fought for this nation. You can come and see the pictures of Hassan Nasrallah in our homes, among our children, our wives, and our sisters, and in our streets. We are proud to be living in the times of Hassan Nasrallah. We are proud to be living in his times. It is our hope that Hassan Nasrallah will be the leader of this nation, who will unite it, Allah willing.

Even if they destroy all of humanity, an Arab child will come out of the rubble, and he will grab a stone and throw it in the face of Condoleezza Rice.
