The following is an elections broadcast in support of the Shi'ite United Iraqi Alliance that was aired on Iranian TV in Farsi on January 27, 2005.

In the name of Allah the compassionate the merciful. In order to carry out the instructions of the honorable Shi'ite source of emulation [Ayatullah Sistani], all Iraqis are hereby invited to participate in the crucial elections for establishing a flourishing, free, independent Iraq, and to vote for the United Iraqi Alliance – list No. 169.
