Palestinian filmmaker and activist Bisan Owda, who has been nominated for a 2024 News and Documentary Emmy Award, was interviewed at a PFLP Anniversary Rally in Gaza in a video posted on Alwatanvoice.com on December 12, 2015. Wearing what appears to be military fatigues and a red PFLP scarf, Owda said that the policy of the PFLP is that all the "people of the Intifada" in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem are united as one. The video continues to showcase PFLP activists brandishing swords, knives, and other sharp weapons. Bisan Owda is nominated for her Al-Jazeera (Qatar) show "It's Bisan from Gaza and I'm Still Alive."
