Fatah Official Abbas Zaki: In Spite Of The Palestinian Authority, Palestinians Are Forming Brigades With Aid From Iran, Hizbullah; The West Bank Will Be Our Nation's Last Stronghold

Abbas Zaki of the Fatah Central Committee said on an August 17, 2024 show on Al-Alam TV (Iran) that there is resistance in the West Bank "in spite of the (Palestinian) Authority," and that "brigades are being formed" with aid from Iran and Hizbullah, even though "they know that they will be killed, their homes will be demolished, and their families will be destroyed…" Zaki stated that the West Bank will be the nation's "last stronghold."

Abbas Zaki: "There is resistance, in spite of the [Palestinian] Authority and in spite of the pragmatists. There are brigades being formed. People are selling jewelry, and they are getting aid from Iran, Hizbullah, or wherever. They are fighting, and they know that they will be killed, their homes will be demolished, and their families will be destroyed, but defending one's homeland has no price. The Soviet Union sacrificed 27 million people in order to defeat Nazism. Therefore, the West Bank will be the nation's last stronghold."
