Fatah Official Na'im Murrar At West Bank Ceremony For Highschool Students: We Must Hold Guns, Knives, Stones In Our Hands; We Should Draw Our Weapons In The Face Of These Settlers

Fatah's secretary of the Ramallah Governorate, Na'im Murrar, said at an August 14, 2023 ceremony honoring high school students in the Qalqilya area that the only way for Palestinians to be victorious is to "drive out the tyrannical enemy from our land." He told the audience that before they hold books in their hands, they are required to hold guns, knives, and stones, and he said that they must draw their weapons in the face of the settlers. In addition, Murrar said that PA President Mahmoud Abbas is hoisting the Palestinian banner "in the face of the occupation and its evil helpers, the forces of injustice and aggression in the world, headed by the U.S." The ceremony was aired on Awda TV (Palestinian Authority).Na'im Murrar: "We will not succeed in completing our journey and winning unless we drive out this tyrannical enemy from our land, so that all of us are safe from its arrogance and violence.

"Therefore, even before we carry books in our hands, we should know that we are required to hold the working tools of the resistance, which can sometimes take the form of a gun, and other times a knife or a stone

"Therefore, we should all draw our weapons in the face of these settlers.'We want you to complete the mission of your leadership that is embodied by [Fatah's] Central Committee, and the [PLO's] Executive Committee, headed by President Abu Mazen [Mahmoud Abbas], who roams the world hoisting the Palestinian flag in the face of the occupation and its evil helpers, the forces of injustice and aggression in the world, headed by the U.S."
