Hachem Safieddine, Head Of Hizbullah's Executive Council: Israel Must Come To An End; It Might Take Multiple Military Confrontations, But We Must Get Rid Of This Artificial And Fabricated Entity

Hachem Safieddine, head of Hizbullah's executive council, said in a December 28, 2023, interview that aired on Al-Alam TV (Iran) that Israel must come to an end. He said that annihilating Israel was the objective of Qods Force Commander IRGC General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by U.S. forces in early 2020, and that this is the goal of all the resistance fighters in the region. Safieddine stated that Israel must come to an end, even if it takes multiple wars and military confrontations. He added that getting rid of "this artificial and fabricated entity" is the "natural and logical goal of anybody who believes in history."

Interviewer: "You said that martyr Soleimani's goals for Palestine were very ambitious. What was the ceiling for those goals? What did he want to accomplish for the Palestinians?"

Hachem Safieddine: "It is very clear. We should work for the annihilation of Israel. This has been the strategic goal of Hajj Qassem Soleimani, Qods Force, and all the resistance fighters in the region. Israel must be annihilated.

"It may take one war, two wars, three wars, multiple confrontations, military confrontation, the sacrifice of martyrs, bearing the burden, dealing with the consequences, but ultimately, this entity must come to an end.

"This is the natural and logical goal of anybody who believes in history, believes that an injustice was done to the Palestinian people, and that our nation must get rid of this artificial and fabricated entity, which was created by America and the West in this region."
