On February 19, 2019, Hamas Political Bureau member Fathi Hammad said that the Arab regimes that have normalized relations with Israel will be "buried in the trash heaps of history" alongside the Jews, who are Allah's enemies. He said that the children of Gaza will be taught how to liberate their land in the kindergartens, elementary schools, and he praised one million of Gaza's "children" for having "enrolled" in a national, Islamic, Jihadi, religious "course" that included "fence-breaking and confrontation." Hammad called on the youth of Palestine and Gaza to join the mujahideen and the Al-Quds and Al-Qassam Brigades. Of February 22, 2019, Hammad said that the Palestinians will cleanse Palestine of the filth of the Zionist enemy and that they will stop only at martyrdom and victory. He then joined a chant of: "With our souls and blood we will redeem you, oh Al-Aqsa!" Fathi's statements on both occasions were aired on Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas/Gaza).

Fathi Hammad: "We say to all the Arab regimes that normalized [their ties with Israel] overtly or covertly: You shall not succeed. You shall not be victorious. You shall be buried in the trash heaps of history alongside Allah's enemies – the Jews – about whom Allah said: 'You shall find the people strongest in enmity towards the believers to be the Jews and the polytheists.' The Jews are vanquished. They have been defeated. Those who stood by them out of despair will not save them from us, from our weapons, and form our marching on our land, Allah willing. Therefore, victory is around the corner.

"We will move forward to liberate our prisoners and our Al-Aqsa Mosque. At the same time, we will teach our kids in the kindergartens, the elementary schools, and the middle schools how to move forward and liberate their land, with the help of Allah alone. Our achievement today is that out of the two million people [of Gaza], one million children have enrolled into a national, Islamic, Jihadi, religious course. They all excelled and got first place in fence-breaking and confrontation.

"Oh the youth of Palestine, oh the youth of Gaza, once you complete the advanced course of the 'March of Return,' you should join the Al-Quds and Al-Qassam Brigades, the mujahideen and the freemen, wherever they may be.

Fathi Hammad: Our message is that the Zionist enemy will not survive as occupier of our land. We will cleanse our land of the filth in Jerusalem, in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the Galilee, in Hebron, in Jaffa, in Haifa, and in Acre, Allah willing.

"We will only stop in one of two stations – the station of martyrdom or the station of victory – in order to raise the banner of 'There is no god but Allah' over all the mosques whose virginity has been violated in Palestine. Praise by to Allah, this scene reassures us that the youth are making progress each day. They are ready for the signal to cross the border. The day will come when we will cross it."
