During a speech he delivered on September 20, Hizbullah's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah said that Israel's attempt in Syria to prevent accurate missiles from getting to Hizbullah in Lebanon is "over." He said that Hizbullah now possesses accurate missiles and other armaments, and that if Israel "imposes a war upon Lebanon, [it] will face a destiny it never expected." The speech aired on Hizbullah's Al-Manar TV network, and the broadcast showed a large crowd chanting: "We respond to your call, oh Nasrallah!"
Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah: On the issue of accurate missiles, and [Israel's] attempt to thwart this capability in Syria, I'd like to say what [Israel] already knows, but I will say it in the media, so that the [Israeli] people will know and beware, and so that our own people will know and will be filled with confidence. I say to [Israel]: No matter what you did to thwart this, it's over. It's a done deal. The resistance now possesses accurate missiles, other missiles, as well as [other] armament capabilities, so that if it imposes a war upon Lebanon, Israel will face a destiny it has never expected.
Crowd: We respond to your call, oh Nasrallah!
