On May 21, 2023, several pro-Hizbullah Telegram channels shared video footage of a military drill held by Hizbullah in southern Lebanon. A large number of Hizbullah fighters participated in the drill, which simulated an attack on Israeli military bases and vehicles and involved the use of infantry tactics, explosives, motorcycles, ATVs, and small drones. Hizbullah fighters also demonstrated their martial arts skills. According to reports, Hashem Safieddine, chairman of Hizbullahs Executive Council, personally observed the drill and said that the drill did not involve Hizbullah's precision missiles so as to not expose them to Israel.
