Hizbullah Official Nawaf Mousawi On Lebanese Critics Of Hizbullah: 'Zionist Lobby' Scum Is Trying To Intimidate Us With Civil War – They Are No Match for Us; They Do Not Represent The Christians In Lebanon

Hizbullah official Nawaf Mousawi, the head of Hizbullah's resources and border department said that Christian opposition factions are intimidating Hizbullah with threats of civil war, in his June 24, 2024 interview on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon). Referring to these parties as the "Zionist lobby," he said that they are "scum" and would be no match for Hizbullah in a civil war. Mousawi said that they should be in prison. He described these factions as "midgets" and nauseating, and he said that he has come close to smacking these people upon sight.

Nawaf Mousawi: "Our Secretary-General [Nasrallah] has called on our people and brothers not to respond to [Hizbullah's critics] but as you have mentioned, perhaps there are still some people who listen to them. In my view, if anyone is bothered by them, they can answer them in a manner that would bother them. But the answer must be in keeping with their size, because they are midgets.

"These people who make up the Zionist lobby [in Lebanon] are scum, and within that scum, there is a [more extreme] scum who beg for alms. These are the scum de la scum. They belong to a party of scums, and they are the scum de la scum. Perhaps someone said to [the Americans:] 'Maybe if we intimidate them with the possibility of civil war, they will...'

"Man, you scum, and the scum de la scum – are no match for us in a civil war. Even if you contemplate a civil war – you are no match in it. So people who are trying to sow fear in us...The intimidation season has started. They are trying to intimidate us with an Israeli war of aggression and now with [civil war]... You are no match for us in a civil war, You are very small. You are midgets in size, look, and scumminess.

"I would like to emphasize again that is a lie to say they represent the Christians. We have phenomenal relations with [Christian] dignitaries... This is an issue I know like the back of my hand, I know that the majority [of Christians] do not want them. These are a bunch of street punks, who won [the elections]... If the penal code was implemented in Lebanon, they would go to prison. Many times when I see one of them, I have to hold myself not to smack that midget in front of me. They are nauseating. Even on the personal level, they make you nauseous."
