Hizbullah TV Reporter Ali Shoeib Taunts Israeli Soldiers At Border: I Am Under Hizbullah's Protective Umbrella; These Cowardly Soldiers Do Not Dare Come Near Me

On September 19, 2022, Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon) aired a report in which Al-Manar reporter Ali Shoeib stood on the Lebanon-Israel border, a few meters away from several Israeli soldiers and an Israeli tank that were on the Israeli side of the border. Shoeib said that the Israeli soldiers are on the "occupied" Shebaa Farms, which he said belong to Lebanon, and he explained that the "cowardly" Israeli soldiers do not dare come any closer to him because he is under the "protective umbrella" of Hizbullah. He also said that what is preventing Israel from encroaching further into Lebanese territory are the missiles, capabilities, power, and determination of the Lebanese "resistance."

Ali Shoeib: "All these [Israeli] bulldozers came here to increase the fortifications, out of fear of the resistance. This Israeli soldier standing here does not dare to come any closer to me, because we are under the protective umbrella of [Hizbullah]. I have the courage to stand here because there is a sheltering umbrella protecting me from this cowardly enemy, which does not dare come any closer to me. I am standing on liberated Lebaneses land, and he is standing in the occupied Lebanese land of Shebaa Farms.

[...]

"Don't come any closer. Back off. Back off."

Israeli soldier: "Back off."

Shoeib: "You back off.

[...]

"That is Lebanese land still occupied by the Israeli enemy. That Israeli tank is standing on the Shebaa Farms, which are occupied Lebanese land. Only this dirt barrier is separating us from that tank. Perhaps this is why the Israeli enemy is trying to create more barriers between the occupied Lebanese land and the liberated Lebanese land.

[...]

"What prevents these Israeli soldiers from coming any closer is the resistance, its missiles, its capabilities, its power, and its determination."
