Following are excerpts from a speech delivered by Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, which aired on Al-Manar TV on November 25, 2012.
Hassan Nasrallah: If Israel was shocked and confused when a few Fajr-5 missiles landed on Tel Aviv, I would like to say today – and this may be the first time I say it so clearly, to friend and foe: I want our friends to know that this enemy has been deterred, and I want this enemy to know what will await it if it even thinks about attacking Lebanon.
Israel was shaken by a few Fajr-5 missiles, which could be counted on the fingers of one’s hand, in the course of eight days. So how will it be able to withstand the thousands of missiles that will land on Tel Aviv and elsewhere, if it attacks Lebanon?
Crowds cheer
The confrontation with the Gaza Strip, because of the siege – I’m talking about their capabilities, not about their will… The scope of the confrontation reached between 40 km to 70-80 km. A confrontation with us, however, will encompass the entire length of occupied Palestine, from the Lebanese border to the Jordanian border and the Red Sea, from Kiryat Shmona – hear me well, Israelis – to Eilat.
Crowds cheer
The days when we were terrified by the mention of Israel are over. The frightening and terrorizing Israel is no more. It ceased to exist a long time ago, not just now.
