Houthi Friday Sermon By Abdallah Al-Lahji: Due To Wahhabi Influence, We Were Humiliated By The Most Cowardly People In The World: U.S. Marines, Al-Qaeda, And ISIS

Houthi Islamic scholar Abdallah Al-Lahji said that the Yemenis had abandoned Shi'ite Islam and were taken over by Wahhabi influence, which led to Yemeni humiliation in the face of the "most cowardly people in the world:" U.S. Marines, Al-Qaeda, and the Islamic State (ISIS.) He made his remarks during a Friday sermon, which was delivered at the Great Mosque of Sana'a, Yemen, and was aired on Al-Eman TV (Houthis-Yemen) on September 16, 2021. Al-Lahji said that the "woman from Washington" would come to Yemen, in order to supervise the destruction of weapons, and that Yemen was "ruled by the American Embassy." He further stated that Wahhabism is linked to "Jewish deviation" and that it seeks to "tame" the Yemeni nation in service of the "enemies of Islam." Abdallah Al-Lahji: "The day we in Yemen turned away from the [Shiite Islam] of the Prophet’s household, because of the Wahhabis who invaded us with their foreign ideas, we became disgraced and humiliated. The American woman would come from Washington to Sana’a, and she would summon the leaders of this nation, and instruct them to collect the weapons from the arsenals of the armed forces, and then they should directly supervise the destruction of these weapons. We used to be rules by the American embassy. We were humiliated even in the face of the most cowardly people in the world: U.S. marines, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS.
