In a Houthi rally that took place in Sana'a, Yemen, and was aired on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon) on January 21, 2022, Houthi Islamic scholar Muhammad Miftah threatened the UAE and Saudi Arabia, saying that the Houthis' retaliation "is coming." He said that the conflict between the Houthis and the "slaves of America" is religious, political, and moral, and that the UAE and Saudi Arabia believe that the power of America is greater than the power of Allah. Miftah added that the Houthis will issue an "announcement" warning Saudis and Emiratis to evacuate places they had never imagined, which will come "crashing down." He added that their glass towers, palaces, bases, and air defense systems will not protect them from the wrath of Allah. The crowd in the rally chanted: "Allah Akbar! Death to America! Death to Israel! Curse be upon the Jews! Victory to Islam! Away with humiliation!"

Muhammad Miftah: "I say to the slaves of America - the rulers of the UAE, the Saudi regime, and their ilk: We know the essence of the conflict. The conflict between us is religious, political, a conflict of moral values. Why?
"It is because we believe that power belongs to Allah, while you believe that power belongs to America."

Miftah: "You believe that America's power is greater than that of Allah. Your decisions, actions, and conduct attest to that.
