Houthi leader Abdul-Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi warned the United States against direct military intervention on behalf of Israel in an October 10, 2023, address aired on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon). He said that the Houthis are "completely coordinated with our brothers in the Jihad and resistance front." The Houthi leader added that they are ready to send hundreds of thousands of mujahideen to Palestine, despite the "geographical" problem they face. He threatened that if the U.S. exceeds its support to Israel and begins direct military intervention, it will carry out military strikes against American targets, using rockets, UAVs and other military options.
Abdul-Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi: "Our people are ready to send hundreds of thousands of mujahideen to Palestine. Okay, geography might pose a problem. It could be a problem for our people to go there in large numbers. Nevertheless, and despite all the obstacles, we will not hesitate to do whatever we can. We are completely coordinated with our brothers in the Jihad and resistance front, in order to do anything and everything that we can do.
"In the framework of this coordination, there are red lines, a certain scale of events. One of those is a scenario in which the Americans intervene military and directly. Now they are providing aid to the Israeli enemy. If they intervene directly, then we are prepared to join the fray, using rocket strikes, UAVs, or any other military option that we can."
