A video produced by the Yemeni Military Media documenting the bombing of Greek oil tanker Sounion was aired on Al-Masirah TV (Houthis-Yemen) on August 30, 2024. The video depicts the blast on the ship following the Houthi attack on August 21, and masked Houthi militants can be seen boarding the ship after the fire subsided. Houthi militants can be heard chanting as the fire blazed: "Allah Akbar! Death to America! Death to Israel! Curses upon the Jews! Victory to Islam! We respond to your call, oh Al-Aqsa!"
