Mashhad Sermon by Khamenei Representative Ayatollah Ahmad Alamolhoda: We Will Not Give Up on Jerusalem Even If the Palestinians Do

Ayatollah Ahmad Alamolhoda, Khamenei's representative in the Khorasan Razavi Province in Iran, said in a May 31, 2019 Friday sermon that aired on Khorasan Razavi TV (Iran) that even if the Palestinian people want to "give up" and come to an understanding with America or Israel, Iran will not give up because it is interested in the "liberation" of Jerusalem and in returning it to the Muslims as a place of worship.

Ayatollah Ahmad Alamolhoda: "[Even] if one day the Palestinian people want to come to an understanding – God forbid – with Israel or America and give up, we will not give up, because we are pursuing the liberation of Jerusalem. Jerusalem belongs to Islam and is the apple of Islam's eye. Jerusalem needs to return to the Muslims as their place of worship."

Crowd: "Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar Allah Akbar! Khamenei is the Leader! Death to those who oppose the Rule of the Jurisprudent! Blessings to the fighters of Islam! Peace upon the martyrs! Death to America! Death to England! Death to the hypocrites and the infidels! Death to Israel!"
