Iranian researcher Fadi Al-Sayyed of the One Nation Center for Strategic Research delivered a message, in the Arabic language, to the Arab and Islamic regimes on Hiwar TV (U.K.) on January 12, 2021. He said that Iran extends its hand in peace to the Arab and Islamic countries. He stressed that Iran is interested in real peace and not in settling scores. Al-Sayyed said that before the fall of the Shah, Iran was considered the leader of the Arab and Islamic regimes, but after the Islamic Revolution, "Iran became the boogeyman." He said that Iran stands by all the Arab countries and is "here to protect" them. Al-Sayyed said: "If only you take a realistic position with regard to Palestine, all the capabilities of the Islamic Republic will be at your disposal." However, he lamented that these regimes are unable to "get out from under the American and Zionist cloak because they were planted here by the global arrogance of the U.S.A."
Fadi Al-Sayyed: "The Islamic Republic of Iran extends a hand in peace to all the downtrodden, and to any regime that needs its help. Any regime! Iran does not distinguish between different regimes in the Arab and Islamic countries. Today, the Islamic Republic is extending its hand in peace, for the sake of real peace, and not in order to settle scores.
"Like I said at the outset, we want to be released from the complex of buried hatred, and the ambition to settle scores with the Islamic Republic. When the Shah ruled Iran, Iran was the master of all the Arab and Islamic regimes. But when the tables were turned and the rule in Iran became Islamic, Iran became the boogeyman. This is not fair, because the Islamic Republic stands by all the Arab countries. The presence of Iran in the region guarantees those regimes.
"Iran has sent hundreds of messages to the Arab countries. We extend our hand in peace, and we said that we are here to protect you. If only you take a realistic position with regard to Palestine, all the capabilities of the Islamic Republic will be at your disposal, and at the disposal of your people and your regimes. But they are unable to get out from under the American and Zionist cloak, because they were planted here by the global arrogance of the U.S.A."
