Prof. Alireza Panahian, Head Of Khamenei's Academic Think Tank: A War Of Attrition In The Region Will Eventually Destroy Western Civilization; In The Post-Israel World, We Will Still Need To Organize Demonstrations In The West To Finish Global Zionism

Iranian scholar and strategist Alireza Panahian, head of Supreme Leader Khamenei’s think tank for universities, said on a November 8, 2023 show on Channel 1 (Iran) that Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei, Hizbullah, the Houthis, and Hamas seek the destruction of Western civilization, through a “war of attrition” against its roots in the region. He explained that a destruction of the State of Israel would not mean the destruction of Zionism, because “everybody knows” that the Zionists keep their houses and their money in all the wealthy countries around the world. Following the same thread, Panahian said that in a post-Israel world the protests against Israel will evolve into protests against the “Zionist Lobby” in Western countries. He suggested that people study the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which he claimed has predicted world events 120 years in advance, and therefore is proven to be authentic.

Alireza Panahian: "The Zionists were a dispersed nation. It is written in the preface of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. This book needs to be studied more carefully these days. I advise media platforms like this one to discuss these Protocols. Some people say that this book is a baseless forgery. What kind of a book predicts the future of the world so accurately 120 years in advance?

"What would you do with international Zionism once you destroy the Zionists in the region? Everybody knows that their houses and their money are all kept in the wealthy countries around the world. Everybody knows that."

Host: "Zionism will not be destroyed with the destruction of the State of Israel."

Panahian: "So what are Hassan Nasrallah and our leader [Khamenei] doing now? I think that they are turning this war into a war of attrition, so that the roots are burned and Western civilization would be destroyed in a war of attrition in this region. Hamas itself is doing the same thing."

Newscaster: "What about the price? What if the 10,000 casualties [in Gaza] become 30,000, 40,000, or 50,000?"

Panahian: "How long are we meant to suffer slavery? This is the question we need to answer. How long will 7,000 children have to be born in the desert, behind the barbed wire of the Zionist-controlled settlements?"

Host: "So you do not see a ceasefire as a solution. But our foreign ministry and our activists are seeking a ceasefire."

Panahian: "Yes, a ceasefire under the current circumstances, without a Zionist victory. It would be to their detriment. As for the war of attrition – Hamas, Hizbullah in Lebanon, Yemen, and the forces of the resistance still have not revealed their full force.

"Right now, we can make people in the world demonstrate against Zionism in the region. Well, we need to prepare ourselves for the post-Israel world. What will that world look like? The same demonstrations will take place, but against the Zionist lobby of political parties in countries like Germany, the U.S., London, and elsewhere. This is what we should do in the future."
