Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a September 18, 2019 address to an Iraqi delegation that aired on Channel 1 TV (Iran) that America and its lackeys, collaborators, and mercenaries have been conspiring against, threatening, and boycotting Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, but that Iran has nonetheless transformed "from a thin twig into a thick trunk with solid roots and branches in the sky."
