Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a November 24, 2020 address that aired on Channel 2 (Iran) that America’s situation is unclear, and that it does not have a clear stance on international issues according to which Iran can make plans. Explaining that European countries such as England and France have nuclear weapons, while Iran is not permitted to have even "regular" missiles, he said that these countries should "fix" themselves before expressing their opinions about Iran and its missile programs.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: "America's situation is unclear. We are in a time when everybody is worried about their own affairs. Their problems are preventing them from having a stance on international issues that would enable us to make plans accordingly. But the Europeans are talking, you see. They are always demonstrating their presence. They are making declarations against us, saying that we need to do such-and-such about our missiles. They are interfering in the biggest fashion in various issues that have nothing to do with them, including our regional issues. Regarding the missiles, they themselves have destructive atomic missiles that are forbidden by reason and religion. England has them. So does France, and Germany is on the way. It isn't clear if Germany has them or not. They say that we aren't even allowed to have regular missiles. What business is it of yours? First fix yourselves, and then express your opinion about these matters."
